We are happy to support the FZS UJEP project focused on individual psychomotor exercises for children aged 3 to 18 with our Skill Lite Adventure full-body harness.

Since November 2019, FJS UJEP has been conducting individual psychomotor exercises for children using the BalanceTutor device. The unique technology of the BalanceTutor device is based on the concept of using unexpected postural perturbations and the subsequent reactive postural response. Allows you to trip or slip. This advanced technology uses the movement of the platform in the medio / lateral and front / rear direction, standing, walking or running. At present, FZS UJEP is the only workplace in the Czech Republic using the BalanceTutor device for children's clients. Exercises are suitable for children from 3 to 18 years with developmental dyspraxia, for children with impaired movement coordination, for children clumsy and timid. The exercise is focused on the development of proprioception (semi-sensation and movement), the development of the vestibular (balance) system, the improvement of the body's responses to unexpected stimuli, the cooperation of cerebral hemispheres, a device for training smooth walking and running, automation of work with the center of gravity of the body). Balance pads and the BalanceTutor device are used in the exercises.

Children who have undergone exercise on the BalanceTutor show a significant improvement in psychomotor skills, improved coordination of movement, greater endurance, mastery of movement at higher speeds, improved compensation step, improved automatic response to unexpected stimuli, improved muscular strength of lower limbs and torso muscles . In all children, there was an increase in self-confidence and an improvement in the relationship to physical activities.
